Dangal Shoot leads to Location Rejection for Sultan, Sons of Sardaar
Aamir Khan who just started shooting for his much anticipated film Dangal at Ludhiana will be shooting for the much anticipated film till August next year. The same has acted a spoilt sport for Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn as the producers of their upcoming films Sultan and Sons of Sardaar were keen to shoot the film at the same village.
However the village Sarpanch denied the permission to the production unit and while speaking to Indian Express said,
“The villagers are ecstatic that our village has all of sudden become the most preferred location for big Bollywood stars to shoot their movies. This will surely boost tourism in Gujjarwal and surrounding villages. However, it was not possible for us to allow the shoot of Sultan here as village is booked for Dangal shooting till next year. After completing one schedule of Dangal shoot, the team might return here for shoot after few months when Aamir loses weight. So till next August we cannot allow shoot of any other movie here.”
Dangal releases in Christmas next year while Sultan is all set to be Eid 2016 release.
